On selected Sundays, in addition to line 0, there is another historic line operating. For several years, it was the line 15 (Cichy Kacik - Pleszów), this year a new line 23, from Nowy Biezanow to Borek Falecki has been created, in the former route of line 23.

Easier explained - the number of available low-floor trams is exactly the count of vehicles needed for a full workday schedule. Random replacements would thus occur on a daily basis, further limited only on line 2, which would cause double-switches ... and after the works are finished, they will surely need 1 or 2 more trams ...

Wegmann 6ZGTW currently operate on regular basis - they ensure all regular connections on line 2 - only on workdays. As the line needs 5 trams, and 5 Pesa trams slept in depot, theoretically there would be no need to use them. However, it is surely better to let them run, rather than keep them only for emergencies and acummulate failures. They cannot be used on lines 1 or 3, because they currently terminate at Dowgielewiczovej stop in a dead-end track (the rest of the route is still under reconstruction). Thus there is enough Pesa reserve for those lines and the old ones keep photographers happy :)

Yeah, it was formerly a 2-part high-floor tram. However, as I experienced ex-Bochum unmodernised Duewag M6S in Lodz (literally the same type), the driver cabins looked very similar. The speedometer was different, but the style of buttons was used since the beginning of production of the N/M Reihe.

Well, I am not 100% sure, but earlier, 7304 did not have an automatic coupler, and as 7303 earlier had covered couplers, they also were not automatic ... so probably there are only ordinary couplers between and a wire giving instructions to the rear wagon ... furthermore these are two different prototypes learnt to drive together years after ...

Yeah, this is a museum wagon. That is why it is so clean and beautiful. But, these seats can still be found in some Konstals in Lodž, for exapmle.

Well yeah, however as these were made from bus chassis, sometimes not well adapted, there were often problems with axles etc., we have similar ones in Brno (articulated) and now after 12-14 years of service they are to be withdrawn, multiple often out of service due to mechanical failures. Furthermore, on low-floor chassis, major reconstruction works giving the vehicle a second or third life are technically imposible / financially very ineffective.

It is a classic lifespan of a trolleybus ... without some major works done. And they obtained new articulated trolleybuses.

Миналата година със сигурност не изглеждаше проходима. На нивото на пресичане пистите бяха напълно под мръсотията и може би дори асфалт, през боклука, клони, обрасли с храсти.

Last year, it did not absolutely look passable. On the crossing, rails were under thick layer of dust and maybe also asphalt, and over the rails were dead trees, litter, it was overgrown by rubbish ...
