in this photo (http://www.cybernk.net/common/ImgPopup2....irect=1) does it show a trolleybus overhead? It is in Yonsan County, North Korea.

Only two trolleybus in depot now, but roof of trolleybus looks much more white.

This is a DL7000 type, also used in Changchun and Dalian.

This is a DL1000 type tram, 1 is in static display at a museum.

The network is in constant operation and the overhead is in good condition, but the network has not featured in the news at all recently.

I believe the trolleybus in Sangwon are Chollima 973, its paint scheme is same to Pyongyang.

Trolleybuses might not captured on the line but always move within the depot. So the line is working.

In terms of the overall look, the two red ones are most similar to the Chollima-321.
But the green bus looks more like the flatter Chipsam-2019-2 than a Chollima-321.

I think its a body replacement, not 100% sure. At 6:40 in the video there is an empty body with a frame.

Probably 2019. In 2018.11 the Songdowon was still there.

The door on the vehicle on the left appears to have been left open.

Sorry, you're right I could not recognise this location and after this shot it switched to the bus arriving at a stop marked Changchondong so I thought it was there.
A question, are all the Songdowon retired? There is something that looks like a different trolleybus at 39° 9'18.91"N 127°27'54.99"E

I suspect; otherwise I don't think that such a new trolleybus would have a mark, since the new body bus in Sinuiju has no marks. Otherwise maybe it just ran constantly before the other Chollima-321 was delivered. I don't think this is a body replacement, because it does not have the three flaps on the left side.

But there's never a trolleybus there.
Near Sunchon there's supposed to be another trolleybus from Ryongdae Station to most likely the Ryongdae Youth Coal Mine, but I can't see trolleybuses there either

The trolley looks like it moves every year, but there are at most 4 trolleybuses at most. However, the contact network seems to go North, then turn right into the city but I can't see where it goes after that.

The problem is that the line appears very short (2 km) and not all areas appear to have a pole. According to the website's photos, it appears unlikely for the line to run west. At the point where there is no more poles in the east, the road splits, one runs into a tunnel, while the other winds around the mountains though there are no poles seen.
No trolleybuses seen, likely mothballed.

it talks of a cableway between Tongjom-rodongjagu, Ryanggang Province and Kumgol, South Hamgyong Province. However, on some other website in Korean, they call it instead a trolleybus. I took a look in google earth, and at 41° 3'37.23"N 128°33'29.34"E there is what appears to be a turning loop. On the larger road, there are many poles visible, but its unclear if its a power pole. I do believe there could be a trolleybus line here, but probably not to the center of Kumgol because according to the google map, the total distance to Kumgol station is 75 km. Apparently it serves a copper mine, but there are no coordinates of such a mine.
