May 30, 1938

Streetcars are for the last time used in passenger service. On Memorial Day several cars provide special service between Sandusky and Oakland Cemetery.

May 25, 1938

Soldiers Home line in Sandusky, the last rail service of the Lake Shore Electric, is converted to bus.

May 14, 1938

Last day of the interurban service on the Lake Shore Electric. Cleveland–Toledo line, Fremont–Bellevue–Ceylon Junction (Norwalk) shuttles and Gibsonburg branch are converted to bus the following day.

May 13, 1938

Norwalk local service is discontinued.

November 15, 1937

Fremont–Ceylon Junction (Norwalk) line is split into two shuttles terminating at Bellevue due to underpass construction at Main Street.

July 1, 1935

Depot Belt line in Sandusky is converted to bus.

October 4, 1932

Last day of the interurban service to Detroit via Eastern Michigan–Toledo Railroad of the Eastern Michigan Railways Co.

November 11, 1931

East Monroe Avenue line in Sandusky is converted to bus.

October 28, 1931

Tiffin Avenue line in Sandusky is converted to bus.

March 29, 1931

Sandusky–Milan–Norwalk interurban line is discontinued after a severe snow storm. Buses resume service on April, 6.
