The licence (concession) for most of the tram-routes (private company "Süddeutsche Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft" ) was finished in April 1929 and not prolonged. City of Wiesbaden opened own bus-system.
Most of the tram-cars were transferred to Essen (main place of SEG).
Last three tram-routes (2 interurban-routes to the sister-town Mainz) ended on 30.4.1955.

The DÜWAG (now DUEWAG) did not use special numbers or letters for their cars. Frankfurt is using since beginning of electric transport letters for classification of motor-cars and trailers. At first there was type "A" and now the latest cars are namened "S". Trailers got small letters, for example "l" for the 4-axled "Großraum-Beiwagen" (see above). In the 1960th than appeared MV, kv (and others). "V" and "v" means "suburb-cars". These cars had special broad steel tires, because goods railway trains used parts of the network.

The cube was only used by the Mercedes-trolleybusses for some years and the motorbusses.
