Queen Street East Kingston Road

A tram serving the Line 501 catches up with a diesel bus serving the Line 502 on the approach to a split between the Neville Park Line and the Victoria Park Line in East Toronto.
At the time of this photo the streetcar Lines 502, 505 & 511 were operated with diesel buses due to shortage of trams.

Трамвай 501-го маршрута догоняет автобус, обслуживающий трамвайный маршрут 502, на подъезде к развилке между линиями на Neville Park и Victoria Park в восточном Торонто.
На момент съёмки из-за нехватки вагонов трамвайные маршруты 502, 505 и 511 обслуживались автобусами.

Повседневная жизнь трамвайной остановки Торонто.
После длинного пробела в интервале прибудет сразу несколько трамваев, причём без каких-либо видимых причин для срыва в движении — что есть обычная работа трамвая в Торонто.
Хорошо, что теперь пассажиры могут видеть когда прибудет следующий трамвай, поэтому можно и поспать...

Слева находится закрытый остановочный павильон. Справа - два ALRV, следующие по сокращенному маршруту то оборотного кольца Humber (в прошлом служившим крупным пересадочным узлом). В настоящее время около половины вагонов, следующих в западном направлении, оборачиваются здесь. / On the left side of the picture we see a waiting pavilion. Short-turn ALRVs are resting at Humber Loop, the once-mighty transfer point. Approximately half of operating fleet at 501 Route turns back using this loop.
