The lower frequency during the winter months is used each year to renovate sections of the coastal tram.
One track always remains available during the day so that tram services can continue to operate. Only in the evening are trams occasionally replaced by buses.
The works amount to a complete reconstruction, including new masts and overhead lines.

These bridges are rarely used, but it sometimes happens. There are clear signals when a bridge is unavailable, but the tram driver did not see them or ignored them, so he ended up in front of the closed bridge.

A historical photo with a new tram. In the background you can see the construction of new dunes, which will make the view here look completely different in a few years.
Very temporarily, all obstacles along the tramway have been removed, so that photographing trams can go unhindered for a while.
This was the only ray of sunshine of the entire day: at the right time at the right place.

When this bridge was designed around 2005, there was still a railway line that was also going to use this bridge.
During the construction of the bridge, the industrial connection was dismantled, as a result of which the railway tracks became superfluous and have never been used.

The process of opening of the dual drawbridge that carries tramway traffic of the Kusttram (Coast Tram).
Each of the two spans is operated separately, which increases the bridge closure time that could be up to 30 min.
Процесс подъёма двойного разводного моста, через который проходит линия Берегового трамвая.
Каждое крыло моста поднимается и опускается отдельно, в результате чего время закрытия движения увеличивается, и может доходить до 30 мин.

Oostende, Brandariskaai
Postcards of trams were once a common sight in every town along the coast.
This is not a typical view. The combined tram and bus route (Goede Windhelling) had recently been renovated, and the new washing facilities for the trams had also been put into service there.
The location was also still the depot at the time: one tram is visible, though its number is illegible.
The washing facility was taken out of service around 2013 and the entire site was abandoned a few years later, following the commissioning of the new depot.

When 2 groups (tram and train enthusiasts) meet...
The crossing is since long gone. It was a connection to the fish market of Zeebrugge.
The 9123 had recently come over from Charleroi and was still in its original condition from there, so it was converted to be able to stop at the stations there.
