Remains of the trolleybus overhead in Ventimiglia 2 years after the official closure of the trolleybus system.
This used to be a one-way line in the westbound direction of travel.
A set of wires on the viewer's left led toward the westernmost terminus beyond the bridge Ponte Gian Domenico Cassini, while a set on the right led to a short turn before the bridge in case of floods.

Curiously, 80-90% of hanging brackets and all complex overhead infrastructure such as switches, frogs and crossings remained intact.

Remains of a short branch to the new Taggia Arma Railway Station opened 12.2001.
Trolleybuses operated on this line only for 3 months until 03.2002, when diesel buses replaced trolleybuses on the eastern Sanremo — Taggia part of the network due to successive road projects and overhead renovation projects.
The entire system will close 02.2024.

Остатки короткой ветки к новой ж.д. станции Taggia Arma, открытой в декабре 2001 года.
Троллейбусы на этой линии курсировали всего 3 месяца, до марта 2002 года, когда дизельные автобусы заменили троллейбусы на восточном участке сети Санремо — Таджиа в связи с последовательными дорожными проектами и реконструкцией контактной сети.
Вся система будет закрыта в феврале 2024 года.
