The tram was considered as public transport, which meant that traffic legislation applied. The level crossing therefore complied with this.
This is not the case when a rail vehicle is considered as a tourist attraction in an entertainment park. In that case, the rail vehicle forms part of the entertainment park and the level crossings must also be electrically protected.
Unfortunately, this will never be possible here because the river (on the left in the photo) regularly floods, meaning that an electrical installation would not be considered as safe...
