19 августа 2011 года состоялось открытие первой линии трамвая в городе Норфолк. На линии работают 9 вагонов Siemens S70, построенных в 2009 году. Длина линии 11,75 км, на которой расположено 11 станций.
Вагоны получили номера 401–409 в честь вагона № 407, который выполнял последний рейс по последнему маршруту старой трамвайной сети в 1947 году. 19.08.2011 вагон с таким же номером отправился в первый рейс с пассажирами по новой линии.
