08.02.2020	Ранее объявленные планы перестроения троллейбусов Designline в дизель-электрические гибридные автобусы были официально заброшенны. Троллейбусы были приобретены частным лицом и теперь выставлены на продажу на аукционном сайте trademe. Цена начинается от 10 000 новозеландских долларов за единицу.

13.06.2017	The "new" date for the trolleybus system closure is set for October 31st, 2017. The overhead dismantling is set for November, 2017.
01.03.2017	The "new" date for the trolleybus system closure is set for July 31st, 2017.
22.08.2016	The "new" closing date for the entire trolleybus system is set as June 30th, 2017. Bids for dismantling of the entire overhead are announced.
