I have not yet visited American film studios, so I cannot compare.

If you ever come to Shanghai, I can recommend this. Please note that this is a very active studio and that parts of it are regularly closed to visitors due to filming. This implies that the tram (or trams) do not always run, or only on a certain section. I was there in the morning and that was a correct choice: in the afternoon, the 'city section' was closed off and the tram service stopped, because filming was planned there.
Last tip: have the address written down on a piece of paper in the hotel and hand it to the taxi driver at the end of the metro line. This is already in a region where nobody understands English and the indications on buses are given in monolingual...

Is something like that in USA, in San Francisco and Hollywood area? Both old trams and film studios is there.

В СССР это такой модный слоган был, "город контрастов"? Уже не первый раз такое. В фильме такое тоже встречается.

А на заднем фоне не троллейбус случайно? Мне кажется, что очертания токоприёмников видны!

В таком случае мы получаем совместное фото всех видов городского электротранспорта Шанхая бывших в Шанхае с 1914 по 1970. Потом трамвай ушёл, остался троллейбус, а в 1990-ых появилось метро. Потом пришёл транслор, маглев, мувер, электробус с суперконденсаторами, электробус с аккумуляторами и буквально в начале этого года в Шанхае открылось движение трамвая (всего две линии есть).

А ещё в Шанхае сейчас есть скоростной троллейбус (BRT) и в начале 2019 открылась сеть BRT обслуживающаяся полностью электробусами.

Вот такое разнообразие электротранспорта!
