Foton BJ6189EVCA-R

The Foton BJ6189EVCA-R is a 19 metre class low entry electric bus model designed for export to Australia, with a 2.5ⅿ wide body in accordance with NHVR rules. Production of this model commenced in July 2025, however, the first two buses produced were taken apart by March 2026. This model uses a Sinovation HC2U45PWT-MRA dual motor system, with a direct drive traction motor and an auxilliary motor paired with a two-speed planetary transmission, intended to improve motor efficiency. It can be equipped for top-down pantograph charging.
