09.2018 — отставлен от работы, эаконсервирован, ожидал списания. В последний раз выезжал на маршрут №1.
12.2022 — начата разделка на металлололом.

Yes, this is very old, worn out. I believe, this tram is half way to scrapyard. But, the shape of seats is very comfortable. The form of these seats is more comfortable than in modern trams.

You are wrong here, according to official informations, such a tram was built for use of 16 years! OK it is still much older than 16 years.. but age is not all! These trams can go 40 years if they are maintained well! I visited Novopolozk and they have this type of tram, built 1973!! And salon, cabin look very good. I will upload photos too. As well, the most famous good-condition KTM-5 you can find in belorussian Mozyr.
To sum it up, of course trams do not last forever under hard everyday duty, but maintainance helps. Dont compare with human.. better compare with old house or oldtimer cars :)))

Our trams, apparently, are not very lucky with proper repairs
