Trolleybus service on the Sukhbaatar Duureg (7 Buudal) branch, the Line 7, ceased in 2001-2004 due to rolling stock shortages. The line was officially closed in 2005, and the overhead was later dismantled.
Note the ghetto developments called ger-district in the background, which practically surround the entire line.

Движение по линии на Сухы-Баторский район (остановка 7), маршрут 7, остановилось между 2001-2004 гг. из-за нехватки подвижного состава. Линия официально закрыта в 2005 г., контактная сеть со временем была полностью разобрана.

The Sukhbaatar Duureg (7 Buudal) branch, the Line 7, was opened in 1991. This was the only independently built branch, in addition to the comprehensive trolleybus network built by the Soviet Union as a bulk project in 1987-1988.
