Capacity is not an issue here, trust me :)

But when a tram breaks down on a single-track stretch, both directions are paralysed, and when there are two tracks, at least one direction is still functioning :) Besides, lines 6 and 19 passing here seem to be frequent enough to be wholly two-tracked.

At the end of the day, surely, I agree. Let's say this is an internal clash between a professional (in terms of operations) and an enthusiast (in terms of aesthetics/authentics) within me:

I totally agree, old rust covered tram crawling 15 km/h on the wavy worn out tracks somewhere in a field or dusty industrial area is far more picturesque and interesting sight than any brand new LRT with a perfect infrastructure :)
