Tempe, South Ash Avenue
For this section, European standards were used, including roundabouts, cycle paths, footpaths... Here the tram runs on battery power, because the overhead wire is also omitted.
By the way, it was as quiet as the picture shows: there was just nobody there.

Many thanks for the photos. The Light Rail bridge over the Salt River is visible in the background. It provides an excellent opportunity for photos of the Phoenix Light Rail, one of very few in this otherwise exceptionally practical but dull city. If you lucky, a light rail train might pass side-by-side with a ‘real’ railroad train on a parallel bridge. The latter was a site of an epic freight train fire in 07.2020:

First of all, I sincerely apologise for not answering in Russian, but I don't speak Russian, which is why I am answering in English.

We have a proverb: beautiful from far, but far from beautiful.

A two-lane roundabout is possible, but only in exceptional circumstances: this requires a certain amount of traffic in the first place, which is absolutely not the case here.
Some parts of the cycle path have been painted green: follow this... Almost hilarious, especially when leaving the roundabout.
The design (location) is also totally wrong: the cycle path should be next to the footpath and preferably at the same height, and not wedged between the tram tracks and the roadway. This is the most unsafe and unpleasant place to be for cyclists.
Imagine a tram every 5 minutes (which is quite normal in a city) and heavy car traffic: good luck for the cyclists.
The cycle path is relatively narrow, by the way. You now have different types of bikes and corresponding speeds: from classic ones to electric bikes and speed pedelecs. The principle is good, but the execution is terrible, while there is plenty of room here for all kinds of road users. So I think it's beautiful and as long as nobody uses it, it will be all right?

I have been to this bridge twice but have not found any useful photo opportunities. The least bad side was the Tempe side, but it was certainly not such that I could take a nice spectacular bridge photo there. Again: if you did manage it, I would be happy to see the photo!

In your photo I can actually see the tree I was hiding under from the Phoenix sun while waiting for the light rail train to come ) Look on the other side of the river, on the top of the hill of the embarkment, the rightmost tree. Funny story: when I reached the tree I found a local young 'real' railfan already hiding there waiting for a big train to come ) So it must be a well-known location. Granted, it offers more of the view of the bridge and downtown Tempe, while the light rail train is rather smallish and thus it blends in with the landscape. The sun is a bit of a challenge, but it is workable in the late afternoon. My photo is TBA soon.

In the morning, the sun is quite unfavourable, because (if you want to stand safely) you have no recul and certainly not with the long trams running there. Of course, I can also stand on the bridge or tracks... but this is only moderately appreciated there - and it has to remain safe for me too.
In the afternoon, I would have more room to photograph, but then fences were in the picture.

I had not found any other accessible location.

By the way, I was able to take some very nice photos in Phoenix: the route outside the city is boring but inside the city and around it, I discovered some nice photo opportunities. These photos will follow soon.

This is more or less the view I was after:

The trick is to 'fit' the long light rail train to the left of the structure of the main railroad bridge.
