Granted, the movement of transport through this segment has been somewhat streamlined by partial traffic light protection. Tram departing Großsachsen Bahnhof (in the background of this photo) in the southbound direction and entering the section with Straßenbahn-Gegenverkehr, prompt a traffic signal for cars in the same direction of travel to turn red (again, in the background of this photo). Thus the photo like this is possible, with the southbound tram going through empty Landstraße. This allows for automobile traffic in the northbound direction to sway over into the lane of opposing traffic without much obstruction, see photo taken a few seconds later:

The tram continues southbound with northbound automobile traffic moving onto the opposing side of the road:

Such protection is not 100% guaranteed, but it helps to avoid most situations with cars conflicting head on. Hence, scenes from the past like in the following photos from 2009 are less likely to happen now:

Надо признать, движение транспорта по этому участку несколько упорядочено за счет частичной светофорной защиты. По мере отправления трамвая с Großsachsen Bahnhof (на заднем плане этого фото) в южном направлении перед въездом на участок Straßenbahn-Gegenverkehr, светофор для автомобилей в том же направлении движения меняется на красный (опять же, на заднем плане этого фото). Как следствие, становится возможным сделать вот такой чистый снимок без машин, когда трамвай, идущий на юг, едет по как бы пустой Landstraße. Это позволяет автомобилям, следующим в северном направлении, выезжать на полосу встречного движения без особых препятствий, см. фото, сделанное несколькими секундами позже:

Трамвай продолжает двигаться на юг, а автомобильный транспорт движется на север по противоположной стороне дороги:

Такая защита не дает 100% гарантии, но помогает избежать большинства ситуаций с конфликтующими лоб в лоб машинами. Как следсвтие, сцены из прошлого, как на следующих фотографиях от 2009 года, имеют место сейчас с меньшей вероятностью:
