Один из трех действующих вагонов, переживших ядерный взрыв в 1945 году. Вагон 653 был разбит недалеко от Эбы, примерно в 3 км от эпицентра. Восстановлен в 12.1945. Выведен из эксплуатации в 2006 году, когда было пересмотрено расписание. Восстановлен снова в 2015 году в рамках «Проекта специальной акции по атомному трамваю» как специальный трамвай. Трамвай был перекрашен в серый и синий цвета, в ту же цветовую схему, что и тогда, когда он подвергся бомбардировке. Вагон оснащен монитором, на котором показываются свидетельства выживших после атомной бомбардировки и сцены восстановления Хиросимы. Вагон 653 используется как частное транспортное средство для мирного образования.

One of three operating cars that survived a nuclear explosion in 1945. Car 653 was wrecked near Eba, about 3 km away from the hypocenter. Restored in 12.1945. Withdrawn from service in 2006 when the revised timetable. Restored again in 2015 through the “Atomic bombed Tram Special Operation Project” as a special tram. The tram was repainted in gray and blue, the same color scheme as when it was exposed to the bombing. The car is equipped with a monitor showing testimonies of atomic bomb survivors and scenes of Hiroshima’s reconstruction. Car 653 is used as a private vehicle for peace education.

One of three operational cars that survived a nuclear explosion in 1945. It was exposed to the bombing near Ujina, but was only slightly damaged as it was 4 km away from the hypocenter. Since then the car has undergone numerous repairs. The car is seldom used in revenue service, mainly on spring holidays.

Kinami Sharyō
One of three operational cars that survived a nuclear explosion in 1945. On the day of the bombing Car 651 was running around the Chuden-mae area in Naka Ward, about 700 meters from the hypocenter. The roof and doors were blown off and the car was half-burned. Repaired and returned to service in 03.1946. The car is seldom used in revenue service, mainly on spring holidays.
