Piața Energiei
Tram movements at the main tramway junction in the west of the city at Piața Energiei during the last better years of the Galaţi tramway.
Ex-Dresden Tatra T4D-MI car on the left and ex-Berlin Tatra KT4D tram on the right operate special service for workers to the Galați steel works, designed around shift changes.
All tram services to the steel works will be suspended from 17.12.2018.

Трамвайная движуха по основному узлу на западе города на площади Piața Energiei в последние стабильные годы трамвайной сети Галаца.
Бывш. дрезденский вагон Tatra T4D-MI слева и бывш. берлинский трамвай Tatra KT4D справа обслуживают спецрейсы для работников на сталелитейный завод Галаца, приуроченные к пересменкам.
Трамвайное движение на сталелитейный завод будет отменено с 17.12.2018.

Note, this photo clearly shows that the east-west move via the city's main tramway thoroughfare Strada Basarabiei was possible (two trams in this photo), while the west-east move in the opposite direction was not, see the partially dismantled track. The latter move was completed via an indirect route through Strada Tecuci:

Обратите внимание, на этой фотографии чётко видно, что движение с востока на запад по главной трамвайной магистрали города Strada Basarabiei было возможно (см. оба трамвая в кадре), а вот движение с запада на восток в противоположном направлении — было невозможно, см. частично разобранный путь. С запада на восток трамваи шли в сложный объезд через Strada Tecuci:

The Tatra T4D tram was actually on "Cursă convenție" - This means a special route for the steelworks, and it could only be used by the workers of the steelworks.
Route 6 was known as 6b back then and it was between steelworks and Piața Centrală. (Later it became 6 and had the route between Bazinul Nou and steelworks, while Piața Centrală - steelworks became route 2, but for a short period of time).
This kind of routes (E.g. 1, 3, 6, 43...) had a special timetable, in order to transport workers to and from steelworks, but could also be used by public.
The Tatra KT4D 0098 was actually not in service. It was going back to the depot after it served route 36.
