The route 11 trolleybus operation, according to local media, was suspended in August 2024 because of vehicles weight limitation on the bridge over Marano river on the road between Rimini and Riccione and the necessary detour. On 28 May 2026 rebuilding works finished, line 11 was restored to its normal route, but it's unclear whether trolleybuses are running again.
