Usually, the regular trams coming from Ettingen/Rodersdorf to Basel use the track on the left, but since it is the only track where the rail grinder can park (trams couldn't cross if it parked on another track), the regular trams use the track in the middle, which is usually not used any more, and will be removed in the next years.
