The 1985-built Aruna Kōki car 8502 was built with parts form the 1958-built Tōyo Kōki car 1208 from 1958.
The Kumamoto Castle is in the background.

Kamikumamoto Depot

Car 9701 is the very first low-floor car in Japan.
At the time of the photo this car of so called 'Bremen' type was out of service and mothballed at the depot for technical reasons.

Вагон 9701 — самый первый низкопольный трамвай в Японии.
На момент съёмки данный вагон, т.н. трамвай "бременского" типа, был законсервирован и стоял "под забором" в депо по техническим причинам.
