Trolejbusy VETRA ELR byly stavěny za využití podvozku a karoserie autobusu Berliet PLR.
Pro dopravce toto řešení znamenalo výhodu unifikace náhradních dílů mezi autobusy a trolejbusy.
Jediný vůz svého typu v provozu v Toulon disponoval slabším trakčním motorem o výkonu (100HP≈74kW).
Kolem roku 1966 prošel úpravou čelní partie vozu (patrně za použití prvků za autobusu PH 8-100)
a kompletní proměnou interiéru.
Po vyřazení z provozu v Toulon předán do Saint Étienne — zde ev. č. 22
Trolleybuses VETRA ELR were built using the chassis and body of the bus Berliet PLR.
For carriers, this solution had the advantage of unifying spare parts between buses and trolleybuses.
The only vehicle of its type in operation in Toulon had a weaker traction engine with power (100HP≈74kW).
Around 1966, trolleybus underwent modifications of the front part of the vehicle
(probably using elements from the PH 8-100 bus) and a complete interior reconstruction.
After withdrawing from operation in Toulon transferred to Saint Étienne — here as No. 22 |
