The long-awaited, second composition of the Underground Electric Car No.1 has been completed (it was supposed to be completed by late 2020). There are a few differences compared to the first composition: — it now has air conditioning, instead of powered ventilation — the orange bulbs on the top of the front mask now stick out slightly — the seats have slightly different colour — the television is now placed in the center of the car — most importantly, it does not use BVG Type D carts.
The metro set on the left is the first composition.

Pyongyang, Kim Jong Thae DK4 # 415
Электровозостроительного объединения имени Ким Чон Тхэ (Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex)
Reverse engineered Changchun DK4 produced by Kim Jong Thae, with one intermediate cabless motor car. The set was named "Yonggwang-ho".
Note that the Changchun DK4 did not orginally have intermediate motor cars.
Eventually, another motor car with cab was added to the consist.
Currently, the set has been sent to work on the Korean State Railway, with the two motor control cars split into two sets: 1206 and 1305, both coupled with one locally-produced motor car and one original Changchun DK4 car.

The only 4 door metro set related to the Pyongyang Metro. It was likely built as a single carriage and it most likely never entered passenger service.

Город Синыйджу
A former Pyongyang metro train of DK4 type in use as a surface railroad suburban train.
This rolling stock was built in China in 1972 and was used on Pyongyang metro until the late-1990s.
The picture is taken from a train Beijing — Pyongyang.
Бывший состав пхеньянского метро типа DK4 в качестве электрички.
Поезда данного типа были произведены в Китае в 1972 г. и использовались в пхеньянском метро до конца 1990-х годов.
