The batteries had to be changed regularly. Charging them was done in this container. This load of batteries was lifted into the container and exchanged for charged batteries.

The terminus was then on the Dyle River.

The electric bus ran between regular service: the time to replace batteries was too long to respect the timetable.

How this electric bus ended up, I don't know. A similar specimen of the diesel bus (in these typical Mechelen colours) is preserved in the transport museum in Antwerp.
