11.08.2024	Trolleybus operation of route 530 ends. From 11th August, services are carried out by Yutong ZK6105HNG2 CNG buses.
30.12.2023	Wuhan Metro Line 19 starts operation, with 7 stations over 23.3 km.

26.09.2023	The Optics Valley Skyrail monorail line is opened, using monorail cars with see-through floors. The line operates from 8 am to 8 pm, with an interval of 10 minutes.
26.12.2021	Two new metro lines open, lines 5 and 16. The same day, there was also an extension of line 6 from Jinyinhu Park to Xincheng 11th Road put into service. This adds up to at least 70km of new tracks opened.
