Sinhung looks like the operations were infrequent up to trolleybuses being removed. Between 2013 and 2017, a trolleybus drives into the depot but never moves again, until all 3 are removed after 2017 and before 2020. The two other trolleybuses have not moved at least before October 2013. It is very likely that services were irregular because wheat is seen drying on the south loop at least since 2008.

I think it is possible that the line in Hakmu district runs further; a vehicle is seen within the gated area twice and I see no poles in the square.

The website is very specific here, it says (http://www.cybernk.net/infoText/InfoHuma...irect=1) that it is 10 ri long (about 3.9 kilometres ?) Yet it doesn't seem possible for trolleys to turn at either end of the village. At the base of the hill to the east, there are two poles and a small clearing.

This network is almost certainly out of service, unfortunately. The yellow on both loops are wheat crops being dried (on both recent satellite images), completely blocking any way possible for the trolley bus to turn.

In Jonchon, hopefully it is just parked away.

I believe that the T junction in Kapsan (Tongjom) is the terminus but I am not certain. There are poles seen in both directions to the north and east.

In Sudong, the first 2 satellite images that are basically black and white clearly show parallel poles along the small river at 126.922 39.370 Degrees. Later, they completely disappeared and there is a probable loop before the little bridge over it. Unfortunately, the best image is also partially blocked by clouds, making it tell where the other loop is (maybe at the railway station.)

Now it makes sense; if both of these are the 'general machine plants' I suppose the southerners would simply be not allowed to survey the district unlike the mines.

Regarding other counties with known systems but no visible vehicles, I have a theory, that Kapsan and Onsong closed in 1994 not opened, unlike what Wikipedia says, especially as the Kapsan mine allegedly ran out in the 90 s.

This is very odd. On many Wikipedia articles, it has both spellings in lists of administrative divisions.
.

The loop at Jonchon is located in Hakmu worker's district. But I'm not sure where it ends? About 1.3 kilometres away is the February 8 general machine plant. The same complex also manufactures transport erector launchers (for missiles).
In Sinhung, it leads to the local machine factory and the local revolutionary history museum. The tank factory is also in that county somewhere else

Maybe worker's districts are prioritised to receivepublic transport but during the arduous march, most of them sold the vehicles / wiring for scrap.
But here, the network seems to go to the main street but there is no poles on it : http://www.cybernk.net/common/ImgPopup2....irect=1
Maybe it was built after 1991 when it was around the time taken
Maybe it was even an unfinished project; this pole looks like it could have been part of it : http://www.cybernk.net/common/ImgPopup2....irect=1 you can see another pole behindit too, without anything on it
It's very odd that it has a covered depot. The type of pole appears universal however and could just be electricity mount

I believe the only transport in Hyesan city (maybe somewhere in coal mine there is something...) are buses: http://cybernk.net/common/ImgPopup2.aspx...irect=1
41.428470669963765, 128.23754424407215 is the only depot that I see in Hyesan and is only buses.
Also, looking at Kimchaek on satellite, it shows that in 2009, 6 trolleybu; 2011, 5 trolleybus; 2012, 2 trolleybus until 2017/8 then removed, suspended from 2012 - 2018/9 then two vehicles appear later 2019.

I would love for it to have a trolleybus system but it is most likely for posters as I believe. The only identifiable structure that I see is a turning loop for blue and green buses on the western end of the main road from 2018. Interestingly, there are photos from Kaesong that shows some kind of bracket mount. Also, I must ask, have you found any videos from Tokchon to prove or disprove a system? I found no videos and the closest photo looks more like a transmission line.

I believe there is a high chance of a trolleybus in Kapsan and Sudong (Kowon coal mine). The south Korean survey team said both of these coal mines have a trolleybus. They say 3,9km in Kapsan (Tongjom-rodongjagu). I see some poles on one side of road in Tongjom, but the satellite image for Sudong is too poor to judge.
Similarly, I believe there is a small chance of a trolleybus in Ryongdung-rodongjagu to Ryongdung coal mine, though again the satellite imagery is too poor and videos shot by dprktoday.com do not show the actual streets in clarity, but the satellite images do clearly show poles over a small bridge.
The cities that I feel absolutely do not have a trolleybus are Hyesan, Rason (nor when it was only Rajin and Unggi), Unhung (which is next to Hyesan) and Songrim. I also think its unlikely for there to be a network in Kusong. I am certain that Hyesan has a good bus network, but no trolleybuses. The only 'depot' visible in satellite imagery is a bus depot, although some buses have dirty roofs that might look like the poles of a trolleybus.
Maybe Ryongdae had a line to the coal mine at some point, there were once tracks in snow near train station in satellite image but it definitely does not exist anymore, if at all.

I do have doubts on some online lists of trolleybus systems; they listed Manpo years before it was built and satellite imagery shows no poles before 2019. All of them similarly have the same misspelling of Kumgol-dong as "Kimkol". Some lists say this 'Markyn-Kimol-Chognyon' which is impossible place name for Korea, and I don't know what the other two are.
Although in this photo of Yonsan, Holdong-rodongjagu [http://www.cybernk.net/EV_CyberNKFile/im...002.jpg] the overhead is maybe a transmission line as Yury pointed out, I feel it still could be an unfinished project at least (only the suspension cable for overhead installed), since the poles bear a strong resemblance to the ones used in Sangwon and Onsong, both bidirectional one way lines ie. tall pole with a line connecting the top of the pole to the metal bar that sticks out. Of course I could be completely wrong, it could be an electric power line, but I have not seen one in north Korea that uses poles like the trolleybus poles. In this photo, [http://www.cybernk.net/EV_CyberNKFile/im...003.jpg] the cables seem too low, but there are no connections to the building, as would be expected for a transmission cable, and here is another image of the cables[http://www.cybernk.net/EV_CyberNKFile/im...005.jpg]. This photo [http://www.cybernk.net/EV_CyberNKFile/im...004.jpg] seems to show a similar poles in front of the Holdong House of Culture.
Finally, do you have a video of Sunchon, its thought there might be a trolleybus there.
Thanks for your compilation of videos.

I too, saw that website, but under another discussion, it turns out it is not from there. Instead from Sariwon city - check the photos under that city and there is a extreme resemblance.
Now, if there was one, it was likely removes in the 90s but I have doubts it existed at all. Bus traffic is very developed in that city.

With the wires on the other side of the park, it seems it clearly used to be existing with poles that look like the ones in the Manpo photo here (like these https://transphoto.org/photo/1416595/); shame they weren't seated opposite in the bus, then they would've captured the depot.
I find it odd for what seemingly is a one way loop has poles on both sides.
As the section to Namhung Youth Chemical Complex closed in 2000, they had slowly removed some poles, though by satellite imagery in the industrial area itself some still exists.
Maybe the minibuses in that video replaced the trolleybus

Its possible, here is the furtherest west the survey team took a photo : http://www.cybernk.net/EV_CyberNKFile/im...nso.jpg at where you suggested.
Maybe it does go further (there are a few poles behind the sign here: http://www.cybernk.net/EV_CyberNKFile/im...ogj.jpg), but the image is poor quality and since it was likely taken in 2006, the line might have already been partially dismantled.

As for Kumgol-dong, that area is being prioritised for reconstruction.

I did not notice before, but it does indeed seem the second pair of poles only has a pole on the south side. With how the system has being observed (no trolleybus before 2.2015 image yet the only trolleybus never moving after) I feel maybe this network was never even properly completed/ opened.

The route of the trolleybus in the south is actually very important. There are 2 important places: the Kanggye Martyrs' Cemetery and the Chagang province party committee office.
For the southern loop, I think it was always there, except in 2008, they decided to pave the loop so before it was just a dirt loop, as the 2006 imagery shows trails in the dirt where the loop is.

sorry, I didn't use google earth, I used 38northdigitalatlas.org, its not very clear but they do always purchase close to the latest imagery, it is not dated but is clearly after the 2/2020 google imagery.
In fact, there is one much cleaner roof in the trolleybus depot.

In other cities, Sariwon has updated on google earth, two ikarus articulated trolleybuses are on the line.

On the latest satellite imagery, three trolleybuses have been moved to near the south wall of the depot from the north, three other vehicles that were within the depot have been moved, one or two seemed to have disappeared.
However, there is one vehicle with a dirty/brown roof on the northern side of the loop around the city park, and a few vehicles near Sinanju station, though these are most likely buses

Hello Yury, I have an image that I'm unsure of https://img1.daumcdn.net/thumb/R1280x0/?...70D260F from this website https://blog.daum.net/kwon.m.ki/1339?category=3885
This image is allegedly Kaesong (which depending on the source either had an incomplete trolleybus system or a dismantled one) but I'm not sure it can be matched by map to Kaesong. Where do you think this actually is?
