20/07/1879: the first horse-tram route to Merksem, exploitation 15/07/1887 to N.M.V.B.
15/08/1885: inauguration of the route to Wijnegem, 1 month later extended to Oostmalle.
25/05/1968: last day of operation of the electric tram for passengers.
26/06/1970: last operating day of a private freight line with diesel trams. The owner then takes over the operation with his own vehicles.
