Есть ли у северо-корейцев традиция праздновать новый год?

I was never in North Korea by New-Year and I don't think many foreigners.

Меня больше интересует вопрос, как вы вообще фото там делаете... У туристов каждый шаг контролируется гидом и охраной, вроде.

Учитывая портреты Ким Ир Сена и Ким Чен Ира на заднем плане, то такие фотографии всегда одобряются. Главное условие, чтобы портрет был на переднем плане и ни в коем случае не обрезан, а что вокруг (в данном случае трамвай) уже не важно. Ну а потом уже, дело кадрирования.

Офигеть сюжет. Терминатор Ким Ир Сен в осенней курточке показывает правильный путь замёрзшему и желающему пописать (судя по позе) вполне себе человечному своему сыну. А на заднем плане забуксовавший поезд в светлое будущее. У нас в СССР за такое бы посадили.

В осенней курточке как раз сын, а Ким Ир Сен - справа.

It's not so easy. In fact, to make tram-photos in this street and on this place, was completely not on the programm. We could do it, on the time that other participants visit a circus and we obtained to rent the bus and a guide to make photos where we want do it. We saw before the more interesting places, like this, and in first instance, they refused it 'too dangerous'. But when we explained again where we would to stay and that we will be very carefull, then it was possible. But again: it's not so evident as it looks like. I'm sure that not many could make this photo, which shows exactly the city and the country how the officals like to show to foreigners.

I have never been in North Korea on New Year and I don't think that most of foreigners have ever been.

Все они там на одно лицо, родственники же! А сюжет баннера повеселил! Я вообще бы дофантазировался до афиши нового х/ф. "Смотрите "Долгая дорога в дюнах Северной Кореи"! Скоро во всех кинотеатрах страны!"

That is correct. The «tram program» actually does not exist, instead of this foreigners are suggested to visit the main sightseeings of North Korea, such as Kim Il Sung square, Juche monument etc. While doing this you can make as many photos as you want, including trams/trolleybuses. To do this separately is almost impossible, however, you can try to ask your guide to do this excursion especially for you.
