Jeweils in der Vorweihnachtszeit, genauer gesagt ab der letzten Novemberwoche bis vor Weihnachten, verkehrt in der Zürcher Innenstadt das "Märlitram" (Märchen-Strassenbahn). Die märchenhafte Reise findet jeweils im 25 Minuten-Takt statt zwischen 14 und 19 Uhr. Befördert werden nur Kinder im Alter zwischen 4 und 10 Jahren. Geführt wird der historische Tramzug durch den Samichlaus (Weihnachtsmann) persönlich.
