A former shipyard located on the banks of the River IJ in Amsterdam Noord, the NDSM has turned into a cultural hotspot in recent years. It hosts many festivals, performances and exhibitions and is also a home for a community of artists. This former RET Rotterdam Duewag tram was brought here to become an alternative studio for a local artist. The crane in the background is actually a hotel with three luxurious suites.
