Against the backdrop of The old City gate
Stadsporten was completed in 1645 and originally had earthen ramparts on both sides.
The structure was intended to serve as part of the city’s defenses. In 1740, Stadsporten was renovated. At that time, the upper floor of the building was converted into an archive for the City and Diocese of Bergen (later the Bergen City Archives). It served as an archive until 1971.
Stadsporten has been used to illustrate Norway’s urban history. In 1901, the Norwegian Folk Museum built a replica of Stadsporten as the entrance to the urban history section of its cultural history exhibition. Stadsporten was designated a cultural heritage site in 1927. Stadsporten became a local model for many architects who designed in the Bergen style. Einar Oscar Schou’s city gate motif at the Lower Fløibanen Station from 1918 is one such example.
Today, the building has become a popular symbol of Bergen.

Городские ворота были построены в 1645 году и изначально имели земляные валы с обеих сторон. Сооружение выполняло функцию части городской оборонительной системы. В 1740 году городские ворота были реконструированы. Верхний этаж здания в то время был переоборудован под архив города и епархии Бергена (позже — городской архив Бергена). Здание выполняло функцию архива вплоть до 1971 года.
Городские ворота использовались для иллюстрации городской истории Норвегии. The Kaigaten str. was blocked from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. due to the National Day parade.
Tram service was temporarily reduced to the Nonneseter stop. Passengers were onboarded only at Bergen Bussstasjon platform.

The Norwegian Constitution was signed in 1814, and the day has been widely celebrated since the second half of the 19th century.
It is a holiday for everyone — parades featuring marching bands take place across the country, and people wear their traditional costumes (bunads).

Mannsverk
Výhled z pavlačového věžového domu sídliště Mannsverk na areál trolejbusové a elektrobusové vozovny v záři jarního odpoledního slunce.
Na odstavné ploše není ani jeden trolejbus — všechny jsou v provozu, což je rozdíl oproti elektrobusům,
z nichž určitá část vždy musí trávit čas ve vozovně dobíjením baterií.
Pozadí snímku tvoří dominanty bergenského panoramatu s vrchem Ulriken, (kam vede visutá lanová dráha)
i Fløyen, na který se lze z centra města dostat pozemní lanovkou Fløibanen.

There is any trolleybus in the parking area — they are all in operation, which is a difference from electric buses,
some of which always have to spend time in the depot recharging the batteries.
The background of the image is dominated by the Bergen panorama with the Ulriken hill (where the cable car leads)
and Fløyen, which can be reached from the city center by the Fløibanen funicular.

Mannsverk
Výhled z pavlačového věžového domu sídliště Mannsverk na areál trolejbusové a elektrobusové vozovny zasypané čerstvým sněhem.
Pravá část budovy v popředí patří opravárenské hale, kde probíhá údržba elektrobusů Yutong, vrata úplně vlevo jsou vjezd do myčky.
Část přístavby po pravém obvodu stavby zabírá hala pro údržbu trolejbusů. Rozsah trolejového vedení ve vozovně byl z původního stavu
značně zredukován a zahrnuje již jen jednu stopu pro příjezd vozů a dvojici stop pro výjezd z vozovny (jedna směr město, druhá směr "Top"
tj. na horní koncovou smyčku trolejbusové trati). Dříve bylo možné vozovnu projet pod trolejí i skrze budovu, tato část však byla snesena.
Dnes se v praxi využívají jen troleje v prostoru odstavné plochy trolejbusů (vozy jsou neustále pod trolejí a zapnuté).
Kromě výjezdů na linku se ale troleje pro pohyb nepoužívají a veškeré manipulace po areálu trolejbusy zvládají díky bateriím.

The scope of the overhead trolley line in the depot has been significantly reduced from the original state and includes only one track
for the arrival of vehicles and a pair of tracks for exiting the depot (one direction city, the other direction "Top"
ie the upper end loop of the trolleybus line). Previously, it was possible to pass the depot under the trolley and through the building,
but this part was dismantled. Today, only trolleys in the trolleybus parking area are used in practice (the vehicles are constantly on trolley line and switched on).
Apart from departures to the line, however, trolleys are not used for movement and all manipulations around the premises are handled by trolleybuses thanks to batteries.

Pro bergenskou MHD velmi významná událost — výstavba nové trolejbusové trati. Snímek pochází z jejího jihozápadního konce — smyčky Lyngbø. Pracovníci vrchní stavby právě přesouvají troleje vnitřní obratové stopy blíže do středu točny, neboť původní poloha neodpovídala projektu.
A very important event for Bergen's public transport — the construction of a new trolleybus track. The photo was taken from its southwest end — the Lyngbø loop. The overhead line builders are currently moving the second overhead contact line of the loop closer to the center of this loop because the original position didn't correspond to the project.
