Chronology

06.12.2024 The Heritage Tram Tours will be suspended indefinitely and this with immediate effect.
It became increasingly challenging to run old trams together with the modern ones, with additional technical and safety requirements that were ever higher.
It isn't known if and when and in what circumstances any historic trams may be able to run again.
16.06.2024 For the first time in 88 years, a new tram line is being opened along Talbot road to Blackpool North railway station.

Information

Note about the vehicles:

A Fleet: low-floor trams, are used for the basic service.
B Fleet: Modified Balloon cars, can be used on the whole line and in normal passenger service, mostly in the summer. These trams are therefore listed as passenger trams.
C Fleet: Heritage trams and these trams are listed as museum trams. A number of these trams are owned by individuals or associations.
