01.06.2021 Since June 1, curfew in Istanbul is valid on weekdays from 22:00 to 05:00 and on Sunday from 22:00 on Saturday to 05: 00 on Monday. For this reason, the schedule of the metro, tram and funicular lines has been changed during the restriction:
For medical workers and other citizens who have to work during the curfew on weekdays from 22:00 to 05:00, most of metro, tram and funicular lines will continue their work until 0:00 at 15-minute intervals, except for the T2 (Taksim — Tünel), T3 tram lines (Kadıköy — Moda) and F2 funicular line (Karaköy — Beyoğlu). The F3 line (Seyrantepe — Vadistanbul) will operate from 22:00 to 23:10 at 20-minute intervals.
The daily schedule of all lines does not change.
On Saturday, all metro, tram and funicular lines will operate, expect for the nostalgic tram line T2 (Taksim — Tünel). From 06:00 till 22:00, the lines will operate according to the usual Saturday work schedule, and from 22:00 till 0:00 — at 15-minute intervals.
On Sunday the following metro, tram and funicular lines will not operate because of the curfew:
M6 (Levent — Boğaziçi Üniversitesi-Hisarüstü)

T3 (Kadıköy — Moda)
F1 (Taksim — Kabataş)
Passengers will be able to use İETT buses which run along the route of these lines and stop near closed stations. From 06:00 on Monday, these lines will resume their work according to the previously published weekday schedule (T2 line — from 07:00).
The remaining metro and tram lines (M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M7, M9, T1, T4 and T5) will operate during the curfew from 06:00 to 0:00 at 15-minute intervals. After the opening of the first section of the new line M3 branch from İkitelli Sanayi to Olimpiyat was joined to M9. Thus trains run from Olimpiyat on former M3 branch till İkitelli Sanayi, where they turn towards new MASKO and Bahariye stations.
The line is 6 km long and has 5 stations. It connects two districts of Istanbul, where 1,3 million people live. The one-way trip takes 12 minutes. At the first time the traffic interval is 10 minutes at peak time.
The new line will be maintained by Olimpiyat depot, which now maintains two lines: M3 and M9. Alstom Metropolis trains run on both of them.
Also, the first 10 days rides on M3 and M9 will be free of charge.
28.05.2021 Due to alarm systems integration works of the M9 metro line (İkitelli Sanayi — Ataköy) into the existing metro network, the M3 line (Kirazlı — Olimpiyat — Başakşehir) will operate till 15:00 on May, 28 and till 14:00 on May, 29. İETT free compensation buses will operate during the works on the Kirazlı — Başakşehir Metrokent and Kirazlı — Olimpiyat routes with stops near all closed metro stations, expect İSTOÇ.

Information
