This bridge was also demolished in 2005 and replaced by a new one. The tram had already been withdrawn 3 years earlier...

The Straßenbahn-Gegenverkehr operation on the bridge. The official excuse for the closure of the line, I think was this old bridge. The bridge replacement project didn't include trams.

At the time of this photo the closure of the tramway system in Brandenburg, Eastern Germany was expected at any time. During the 1990s and 2000s the tramway system was cutback, operation downsized, and the headways grew inadequately longer. This was perhaps the worst tramway operation in Germany.

At the time of publishing the tramway system still functions. However, only 2 services remain, while as many as 9 services operated in 1989. The distinction of possible tramway closure now belongs to the Eastern German city of Halberstadt.

На момент съёмки в восточногерманском Бранденбурге ожидалось закрытие трамвайной сети в любой момент. На протяжении 1990-х и 2000-х гг. трамвайная сеть постепенно сокращалась, интервалы движения непомерно увеличивались. Трамвай работал хуже всех трамвайных сетей в Германии.

На момент публикации фото трамвай всё ещё продолжает функционировать. Однако вместо 9-ти маршрутов, работавших в 1989 г., осталось только 2 маршрута. Пальму первенства на предмет возможного закрытия трамвайной сети перенял восточногерманский Хальберштадт.

Cтарая планировка путей на Nicolaiplatz. На момент публикации трамвайный узел перенесён в южную часть площади. В части пощади на месте трамвая на снимке разбита пешеходная зона.

Непонятно. Но место такое, что вряд ли дальше по прямой была линия. Ибо там озеро.
Может быть остатки кольца.

А вагон не заброшенный. Он огорожен забором и колючкой. Да и выглядит вполне себе рабочим.

А для чего эти тупики? Такое ощущение, что это остатки линии. А вагончик жалко, что забросили.
