The route display says 28 - which service used to operate here in the past ) Is this a farewell fantrip before the closure of the Markkleeberg line?

Actually there is another crossing like this in Europe, on the Arad - Ghioroc interurban line in Romania:

Yes,there is a farewell fantrip. Route 28 is the old number for Wahren <-> Markkleeberg-West

A crossing tram and train with catenary there are in other regions. This type of crossing but according to our information no longer. Electrified railway crossing with barrier system and intersecting road with tram in downtown.
