С 1 августа в Таллине возобновится трамвайное сообщение с аэропортом и Ülemiste City. Одновременно город проведет крупнейшее за последние годы обновление трамвайной сети, которое включает в себя и появление нового маршрута.
Теперь перед номерами всех трамвайных маршрутов появится буква "Т", которая будет обозначать трамвай. По словам городских властей, такая система уже широко используется в европейских городах и поможет сделать навигацию более понятной как для жителей, так и для туристов.
После открытия линии аэропорт будут обслуживать сразу два маршрута — Т2 (Копли – Ванасадам – аэропорт) и Т4 (Тонди – аэропорт). По оценке властей, это улучшит транспортное сообщение воздушной гавани с центром города, Пыхья-Таллинном и районом Тонди.

Для прохождения испытаний прибыл трамвайный вагон модели 71-923М "Богатырь".

"Tatra Festival"

After 53 years of uninterrupted service, the Tatra T4R trams are saying goodbye to the Romanian capital. STB, together with the transport authority TPBI, will organize farewell trips with 6 Tatra trams (2 solo and 2 couples) on the weekends of July 11-12 and 18-19 on the most important routes of Bucharest.

В День Московского транспорта, 11 июля 2026 года, по городу проедет колонна из 18-ти исторических вагонов из музейной коллекции Московского метрополитена. Маршрут следования — от станции метро "Новокузнецкая" до Чистопрудного бульвара, где затем состоится масштабная выставка ретротранспорта. Начало движения колонны в 11:30, выставка исторической техники на Чистопрудном бульваре с 12:00 до 18:00.

На время проведения Парада ретротранспорта в субботу, 11 июля 2026 года, с 8:00 до 18:30, закрывается движение трамваев от Павелецкого вокзала до Каланчёвской улицы и изменяются маршруты №№ А, Т1 и Т2.

Трамваи будут следовать:

№ А — от МЦД Калитники до Павелецкого вокзала, далее через метро "Тульская" до Серпуховского Вала;
№ Т1 — от метро "Университет" до Павелецкого вокзала, далее через метро "Пролетарская", Абельмановскую Заставу, метро "Площадь Ильича" и "Авиамоторная", Красноказарменную улицу и метро "Бауманская" до метро "Красносельская", затем по своему маршруту до Метрогородка;
№ Т2 — от метро "Чертановская" до Павелецкого вокзала, далее через метро "Пролетарская", Абельмановскую Заставу и метро "Площадь Ильича" до метро "Авиамоторная", затем по своему маршруту до МЦД Новогиреево.

Following numerous delays and issues with obtaining operational approval, the first 50-metre-long carriage of the new Flexity 2 Berlin (Urbanliner) series has entered passenger service.

The trams are initially scheduled to operate only on the M4 route. By the end of the year, the number of new trams will increase to 15, and by 2028 – to 30. Once the rolling stock on the M4 line has been fully replaced, subsequent new trams will be deployed on other routes.

The difficulties in obtaining approval from the commission were partly due to the tram’s weight: new requirements meant it could not be put into service without the installation of three additional supports at Alexanderplatz underground station – experts argued that, otherwise, the tram’s daily operation would lead to ground subsidence in the area.

Со 2 июля возобновляется движение по всем маршрутам трамвая. Маршрут № 1 временно следует до ул. Калинина в связи с аварийным состоянием моста через реку Булавин.

Вышел на испытания первый электробус по маршруту № 3 "ТРЦ Солнечный — Зоопарк". Испытания продлятся 3 месяца.

From the night of 01/02 July 2026, significant changes will be introduced to the night route network.

– Within the electric transport network, two night trolleybus routes are introduced:
 » 972 Deák Ferenc tér — Orczy tér:
  – following the daytime route 72;
  – passenger service is provided only towards Orczy tér;
  – return runs operate out of service;
  – operates only on nights prior to weekends and public holidays;
 » 980 Örs vezér tere — Deák Ferenc tér:
  – outbound journeys follow the daytime route 80 to Keleti pályaudvar, then continue via Rottenbiller utca — Wesselényi utca — Károly körút;
  – inbound journeys operate via Károly körút — Rákóczi út, then continue along the alignment of daytime route 80.

The new hybrid trolleybuses have started operating on routes 84 and 85, and from August they will be introduced on lines 81, 83 and 72.

A total of 40 new Škoda battery-powered trolleybuses will be introduced: 18 twelve-metre Škoda 32 Tr models and 22 eighteen-metre articulated Škoda 33 Tr models.

The city launched its first battery‑electric buses into regular service, operated by the municipality‑owned Transportes Colectivos do Barreiro (TCB). The initial electric fleet consists of Yutong U10, U12, U18 and E7S models, introduced across several routes as part of Barreiro’s transition toward modern, low‑emission public transport.

The new Karsan e-ATA 10 electric buses have entered revenue service on July 1st, 2026, on lines BT01 and BT02 (former tram routes 101 and 102 respectively).

The Arnhem-Nijmegen-Foodvalley concession is now up and running. Transdev has been awarded the 10-year contract to operate the service.

A large number of new vehicles have been purchased for the new concession:
• Trolleybuses Yutong U12T (50 units) and Yutong U18T (19 units, for the ComfortRRReis 303 route);
• Solaris Urbino 9 electric buses (42 units) and Urbino 24 electric buses (13 units);
• MAN Lion’s City 12E LE electric buses (90 units);
• Yutong U15 (15 units, for the SnelRRReis 220 and 221 routes)

Transdev has taken over 10 Solaris Trollino and 10 Hess SwissTrolley 4 from the previous operator.
The new vehicles will be gradually introduced into service over the coming months.

The Arnhem-Nijmegen-Foodvalley concession has begun operations. Transdev has been awarded the 10-year contract to operate the service.

Nijmegen’s city and suburban routes are now served by new Yutong U12 electric buses.
